What is MBM Clinic & Why do I need it
Made By Movement (MBM) is a platform founded by Kristen, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in rehabilitation, pain management, performance enhancement, and injury risk reduction. At MBM, our mission is to empower you to overcome your setbacks and achieve your fitness goals through evidence-based education and training. We offer a range of courses that cover topics such as building strength, preventing and managing injuries, and advancing your knowledge of movement and wellness. Our goal is to give you the knowledge and tools you need to feel confident and resilient in your fitness pursuits. With MBM, you'll be able to access expert guidance and resources that can help you optimize your physical performance and enhance your overall wellbeing.
What if I am a total beginner?
At Made By Movement, we welcome and encourage beginners to join our classes. We understand that everyone is at a different level, and that's why our classes have been graded with easy-to-choose-from levels. Even our most advanced classes have modifications, as we know that being flexible in one area doesn't necessarily mean that you won't struggle with tightness or injury in another. Our physiotherapist instructors are experts in understanding the unique needs and limitations of each individual, and are skilled at offering personalized guidance to help you thrive in your practice. Whether you're new to yoga, pilates, or physiotherapy, our classes can be a great addition to your training or routine, helping you to build strength, flexibility, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
How often should I take I take classes along with my running ( or other training)?
At our studio, we offer classes that can complement your existing training routine, whether you're a runner or engaged in other forms of physical activity. Our classes are designed to be flexible and can be incorporated into your training regimen at any time of year, depending on your needs. We have classes for your rest days, as well as classes that can be taken on days when you want to focus on post-workout recovery or physiotherapy/rehabilitation. Our goal is to support your movement outside of the studio, not replace it, so that you can continue to enjoy and excel at your chosen activities.
How do the classes help me reach my goals?
Made By Movement Studio's mission is to compliment your passion and training. We provide essential foundational strength and mobility through enjoyable and well guided classes. Often we find ourselves just recurring injuries, tightness or weakness that stops us from doing what we love or progressing. These classes not only change that but explain WHY it's happening.
What equipment will I need for the classes?
It depends on the type of class you will be taking. For yoga and pilates, you may need a yoga blocks, straps. For physio classes, you may need resistance bands or weights. Below each video provide a list of recommended equipment but don't worry we also suggest common household alternatives if you don't have access to certain items.
How long are the classes?
Our classes vary in length, but most are between 15 minutes to an hour. Our classes are aimed to slot perfectly into your busy schedule - we don't want to prevent you from getting outside but keep you there!
How many classes are included in the free trial?
All our classes and clinic tutorials are included in the free 7-day trial!
Will I be able to access the classes on any device?
Made By Movement is able to be accessed on multiple devices, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones by using the internet app!
How do I cancel my subscription if I decide not to continue after the free trial?
You can cancel anytime during your trial or after your trial. You can do this in your Made By Movement profile settings found on the top right of your screen. Please note - if you cancel after your trial you will be charged the subscription fee.
